Lesson 3, Past Environments and Fossil Evidence
Grade 4 Lesson 3

Prepare to Launch into Learning

Each lesson includes a list of potential learning activities—each aligned to the 5E Instructional Model—as well as estimated pacing. You can opt to follow the Recommended Lesson Plan or customize instruction to fit your classroom’s unique needs  .

Every lab has dedicated teacher support to ensure success—even if you haven’t performed the lab previously. This way, you never tackle a new science activity alone.

Lesson 2 Blueprint

Nurture Professional Growth

Explore a robust selection of Professional Development Videos within the digital platform, each one offering tips, teaching best practices, and guidance from the minds of our program authors.

For help with Hands-On Investigations, take advantage of our comprehensive support videos within the digital program. Each video walks you through the activity step-by-step and helps troubleshoot any potential pitfalls you might encounter in the classroom.
