Welcome to All Sorts

Empowering multilingual learners to find their voice in English

All Sorts is a supplemental program designed for K–5 students who are new to the English language. While building and reinforcing key language skills, the program cultivates curiosity, celebrates diversity, and champions fun so that every student can contribute rich insights to their classroom community.

The All Sorts Difference

Key Domains of Language Acquisition

To achieve proficiency in English, students must be able to read, write, listen, and speak about a wide range of topics, which is why every unit of All Sorts features lessons dedicated to each domain as well as lessons that target multiple domains at once.

Engaging fiction and non-fiction texts in every unit guide students as they develop reading skills and explore vocabulary in context.

Two excerpted reading and writing lessons.

Initial lessons focus on letter work before advancing to word work, grammar, and writing responses to help students build expressive language skills.

As students advance through the program, they progress from hearing, understanding, and repeating simple sentences to answering questions, processing instructions, and contributing to conversations during Listening and Speaking lessons.

Thematic Learning

Each unit in All Sorts is organized around an engaging, relevant theme like “family events” or “afterschool fun,” so students can build the vocabulary and language skills necessary to read, write, listen, and talk about it in their day-to-day lives.
