Ask Sharpen is your students' AI-powered study buddy. Students can ask questions and upload notes, their course syllabus, or self-created materials to receive personalized study activities and quizzes that use content verified by your institution or vetted by McGraw Hill—all of which is tailored to their needs based on engagement within Sharpen. Content from all sources is labeled so students know EXACTLY what they can trust.

AI-enabled dashboards give administrators and faculty real-time, actionable insights into student learning so they can intervene early and often. Educators and administrators can track engagement, monitor progress, identify common learning gaps, analyze Sharpen performance, and review predictive analytics for individual students, courses, or cohorts.

Empower faculty and administrators to upload course-specific and institution-specific resources, tailoring the app to meet the unique academic needs of your student body. Faculty and administrators can add their own slides, videos, assessments, and flashcards for students to review or complete before, during, or after class. Address your students’ needs and remediate gaps in their knowledge using content YOU provide.

Use the Radar dashboard to identify knowledge gaps and build a playlist of study activities that can be pushed directly to a student’s phone. Playlists can be customized by faculty and administrators who want to curate content from Sharpen and seamlessly share it with students. Students can then use playlists to prepare for exams and close knowledge gaps.

Within the Sharpen App, students can watch bite-sized videos, review flashcards, read summaries, take quizzes, and tackle multi-step problem sets. As students engage with study activities, Sharpen identifies their individual knowledge gaps and predicts future mastery at the learning objective level.
