Skills and Pathways: Word Processing with Microsoft© Word

Skills and Pathways offers a structured curriculum with hands-on projects and practical exercises, making Microsoft Word learning accessible and engaging. The program equips students with skills to create polished, professional documents for academic, personal, or professional use. The sequence of lessons prepares students for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS): Word Associate and ICDL Workforce Documents certifications.

Program Details

Gain Skills in Creating Professional Documents in Microsoft Word
Students learn how to create professional-quality documents with advanced formatting, tables, graphics, and more. File management, mail merge, using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ensuring accessibility, file export, and other critical skills are also taught. 
Flexible options – A print option creates an excellent user experience for students with a book by their side as they engage in the Word application, while a dynamic digital experience provides auto-graded exercises and other dynamic features. Standalone or bundle options are available. 
Effectively learning design – Each unit begins with well-defined learning goals and then provides straightforward visual explanations with contemporary examples, making technology concepts accessible and relevant.
Applied learning - Projects and exercises throughout the course reinforce students' understanding through the practical application of digital skills in real-world scenarios.
Certification preparation – The skills learned in this program prepare students for Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS): Word Associate and ICDL Workforce Documents certifications.
