Four-page Power Builders contain a high-interest fiction or nonfiction passage accompanied by photos or illustrations, multi-level questions about the reading, and a Learn About Words section with vocabulary and word-study exercises.

Key Cards provide the answers to corresponding Power Builders. For Series 2 and 3, Key Cards direct students to specific Skill Builders that target areas of struggle as indicated by their scores.

Available for Series 2 and 3, these short, timed reading selections improve fluency and comprehension by challenging students to read quickly and answer the questions that follow.
