Advancing Digital Literacy with Coding, Creativity, and Real-World Projects
The comprehensive Level Up through Digital Discoveries series guides students from their very first clicks in Grade 1 to mastering advanced computing and programming concepts by the end of Grade 12. Across each level, students build confidence in digital communication, coding, design, cybersecurity, AI, and real-world problem-solving. Structured lessons, creative projects, and hands-on activities empower students to build their computing skills.
This program empowers learners to explore the digital world through hands-on projects in coding, website creation, communication, and creative design. From building blogs and infographics to programming interactive animations and designing data visualizations, students will gain the confidence and technical fluency needed for the future. Using tools like Scratch, Google Sites, Canva, Blogger, and spreadsheet software, the step-by-step lessons foster independent learning, creativity, and collaboration, laying a strong foundation in digital literacy, communication, and problem-solving through real-world, project-based activities.
Skill building – Learners will be taught skills linked to AI concepts, web design, blogging, spreadsheets, databases, Scratch programming, and online communication.
Active learning – Students will enhance their digital skills through deeper explorations of concepts, and they’ll develop essential communication and data organization skills through carefully considered projects and activities.
Bringing the subject to life – Engaging real-world scenarios and activities are featured to offer context and to ensure motivation.
Commitment to pedagogy – The program follows a spiral curriculum ensuring that students are shown the material at relevant and appropriate grade levels, each time at a higher level of difficulty and in greater depth.
Robotics and AI – These are introduced in our earliest grades and gain complexity as learners work their way through the content, with supplementary content available for Robotics for Grades 1‒8.
