Reading Success is a targeted intervention program designed to teach critical reading comprehension strategies. The program is divided into 4 levels of between 60-80 lessons and is based upon Lexile readability levels to ensure that students can comfortably read the text. Students learn to use specific reasoning strategies when they encounter barriers to comprehension. All skills and processes are introduced through direct teacher instruction and followed by guided practice and independent student practice throughout the remainder of the program.
