    Sean M. Flynn is a nationally recognized economist and engaging speaker known for making complex ideas accessible and actionable. He teaches Economics at Scripps College, part of the Claremont Colleges, and earned his PhD from U.C. Berkeley, where he was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor honor.

    Sean is the author of several widely adopted texts, including Economics for Dummies (Wiley) and Essentials of Economics, now in its fourth edition. His latest book, The Cure That Works, offers a provocative look at how to deliver world-class healthcare at a fraction of the cost.

    His research spans behavioral economics, finance, and healthcare systems, making him a sought-after voice on today’s most pressing economic issues. Outside the classroom, Sean is a national champion coach in martial arts, a world traveler, and a passionate home chef.
