After adopting Everyday Mathematics, Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 saw 86% of Grade 3 students and 78% of Grade 5 students meet or exceed Illinois mathematics standards, outperforming state averages while every student subgroup achieved Adequate Yearly Progress in mathematics. The district, which serves approximately 25,000 students in one of the fastest-growing regions of Illinois, adopted the program to align instruction with state standards amid rapid enrollment growth, supporting implementation with a comprehensive professional development model that included in-district trainer teams, new-teacher onboarding, and specialized support for special education.
