94% of Grade 4 students in Birmingham Public Schools achieved a Satisfactory score on the Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) after the district adopted Everyday Mathematics, reflecting sustained improvement in mathematics achievement and deeper conceptual understanding. Birmingham Public Schools, which serves more than 7,700 students in suburban Detroit, adopted the program to strengthen problem-solving skills and align instruction with national mathematics standards, supporting implementation through extensive teacher professional development, leadership conferences, and ongoing instructional training.
