Description

Mathematics scores in Hamilton County Schools rose at every elementary grade level and exceeded the national average in Grades 1–5 after the district adopted Everyday Mathematics, with Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) results reaching the highest levels in the history of the merged school system. Hamilton County Schools, serving more than 41,000 students across urban and suburban communities surrounding Chattanooga, supported implementation through comprehensive professional development, leadership academies, ongoing training for new staff, and strong community partnerships.
