Believing That All Students Can Achieve in Geary County Schools

Geary County Unified School District saw consistently high mathematics achievement after adopting Everyday Mathematics, with 93% of Grade 3 students, 96% of Grade 4 students, and 97% of Grade 5 students scoring at the Proficient level or above on the Kansas Math Assessment — outperforming state averages — while the district maintained Adequate Yearly Progress every year following the implementation of No Child Left Behind.
