Description

This correlational study examines the impact of McGraw Hill's Achieve3000 Literacy program on student reading growth during the 2020-2021 school year. The research evaluated a national sample of students across elementary, middle, and high school grades utilizing the platform in both remote and in-person settings. The methodology involved evaluating Lexile measure improvements from the beginning of the academic year to the end to measure overall reading growth. Results showed that students who actively engaged with the Achieve3000 Literacy program realized significant gains in their Lexile scores, frequently surpassing expected developmental reading growth. The study reinforces the program's effectiveness in delivering differentiated, adaptive literacy instruction that accommodates individual student reading levels to accelerate academic achievement.
