The Geometer's Sketchpad, Grades 6-8, Exploring Expressions and Equations

This collection of Sketchpad activities gives students the opportunity to explore content from the domain of expressions and equations, as well as functions (Grade 8). Students explore concepts and develop skills related to:- equivalent expressions- positive and negative exponents- inputs, outputs, and linear and non-linear functions- time-distance graphs and time-speed graphs- quadratic functions
