Despite never-ending challenges in and beyond the classroom, you find ways to make learning stick, sometimes through a single lesson that students carry with them for years. You know the one. The activity that finally makes it click. The lesson you come back to every year because it just works. Our Teach and Tell contest invites you to share it.

We want to know:

What's one lesson your students always remember? Whether it's a hands-on activity, a creative hack, or a tried-and-true routine — tell us about the lesson you swear by. Submit your idea in writing for a chance to win $500 in school supplies!

Here's What You Need to Know

  • Runs – September 1–September 30, 2026
  • Who can enter  – Any teacher, educator, or administrator currently working in an instructional or leadership role in PreK–12.

  • Type of Submission – Text only. No video or audio files eligible.

  • What to do – In 500 words or fewer, describe the one lesson, activity, or classroom hack your students always remember. Tell us what makes it work, how you use it, and why it sticks. Submissions will be judged on originality, clarity, and impact.

  • What not to do – Include personally identifiable student information, unlicensed third-party intellectual property, or any content that violates someone's privacy, or the submission will be void.
