    Patrick Johanns is an Associate Professor of Instruction at the University of Iowa’s Tippie School of Management, where he teaches Business Analytics and Operations Management across undergraduate and graduate programs, including the MSBA capstone. With international teaching experience and a background in quantitative methods, he is a recognized leader in integrating Artificial Intelligence into business education, currently developing a new AI-focused course and new author of McGraw Hill’s AI in Business: Creating Value Responsibly.

    James Chaffee

    James (Jim) Chaffee is an Associate Professor of Practice in Business Analytics at the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business, where he has taught and led technology initiatives since 2007. He specializes in integrating emerging technologies—such as AI, blockchain, and XR—into business education. Jim holds an MA in Educational Technology from the University of Illinois and a BS in Secondary English Education from Penn West University. He has developed courses on emerging tech and contributed thought leadership through national conferences and industry publications.

    Jackie Rees Ulmer

    Jackie Rees Ulmer is the Glenn E. Corlett Dean of the College of Business and Professor of Analytics and Information Systems at Ohio University. She previously held leadership roles at Iowa State University, including Associate Dean and Department Chair, and was a tenured faculty member at Purdue University. She holds a PhD in Decision and Information Sciences from the University of Florida. Her research focuses on cybersecurity risk management and machine learning, with publications in leading journals such as MISQ and ISR.
