This 60-minute session brings together administrative and academic perspectives to explore how Inclusive Access (IA) and Equitable Access (EA) models support teaching and learning by simplifying first-day access to required course materials.

Together, the panel will discuss:

  • How Affordable Access models vary by institution
  • Why Affordable Access is more than a pricing decision, and how it supports student success and persistence
  • How campuses align leadership, faculty, bookstores, and student services around shared goals
  • What’s working (and what’s still challenging) with adoption, opt-outs, and consistency

About Your Speaker

  • Greg Morris -

    Greg Morris

    Dr. Greg Morris is Senior Vice Provost for Academic Services at Dallas College, one of the nation’s largest community college systems, serving more than 120,000 students annually. He leads academic support services across seven campuses, including libraries, tutoring, curriculum, accreditation, and institutional effectiveness, while also overseeing the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and the Academic Innovation and Incubation Hub. Passionate about advancing innovation and agility in higher education, Dr. Morris champions initiatives ranging from AI fluency in faculty development to embedded career credentials and adult learner pathways. He holds an EdD from The George Washington University and was named an Aspen Presidential Fellow in 2018.

    Jason Lorgan

    Jason Lorgan serves as the Senior Executive Director of Business Development and Innovation for the Division of Student Affairs at UC Davis. In this role, he leads efforts to identify new revenue streams, implement cost-saving strategies, and explore innovative approaches that align with the division’s strategic goal of optimizing the way we work. With over 24 years of experience at UC Davis, Jason has held leadership positions across various departments, including Campus Recreation, the Council on Student Affairs and Fees, the Memorial Union, and the UC Davis Stores. He is also playing a key role in the development of a new building project called the Student Opportunity Center.

  • Shahrooz Moosavizadeh -

    Shahrooz Moosavizadeh

    Dr. Shahrooz Moosavizadeh is a Professor of Mathematics and Director of the Spartans All-Inclusive Learning (SAIL) Program at Norfolk State University. He has more than 35 years of experience in teaching and revising the course materials and curriculum for college-level mathematics. His research expertise includes ordinary and partial differential equations, fluid dynamics, and Magnetohydrodynamics. He has been awarded Outstanding Teacher and Advisor of the year five times at NSU Math Department. He has served as PI and Co-PI on several grants funded by the Virginia Department of Education and National Science Foundation.
