    Michael F. Weigold

    Michael F. Weigold, Emeritus Professor of Advertising, taught introductory advertising courses at the University of Florida for nearly two decades. He has also taught advertising research, campaigns, science communication, and communication theory. A recipient of numerous awards, including UF’s International Educator of the Year and Faculty Achievement Award, Professor Weigold has authored over 40 publications and conference papers. His research has been funded by organizations such as NASA, the Kaiser Family Foundation, and Shands Cancer Center. Additionally, he has professional experience in account planning and consulting for clients like Unilever, NASA, and KOBACO of South Korea.
