Gregg R. Dieckmann, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at UT Dallas. With expertise in inorganic chemistry, protein biochemistry, and biophysics, his teaching focuses on making STEM disciplines accessible and engaging for students. Dr. Dieckmann has led efforts to redesign General Chemistry curricula, improving student success in foundational science courses. His research spans bioadhesives and bionanotechnology, including the design of protein-based materials for biomedical applications and the functionalization of carbon nanotubes for advanced nanotechnology solutions.
