Description

Join leaders from UC Davis to learn how the university progressed from an Inclusive Access pilot to a campuswide Equitable Access program built around affordability, day-one access, financial predictability, convenience, and faculty choice. Jason Lorgan, Aaron Ochoa, Director of UC Davis Stores, and librarian Alison Lanius will share how collaboration across campus helped UC Davis build support for the model, streamline course material delivery, and achieve 91% student participation.

Presenters will also explain how the program’s flat-rate financial model generates savings that are reinvested in need-based student grants—and how the library, campus stores, and financial aid functions work together to administer that support. Over five academic years, UC Davis has distributed more than $6.1 million to approximately 36,000 low-income students, extending the program’s impact far beyond access to course materials.
