    Karla Swanson

    Professor Karla Swanson is an experienced educator with over 20 years of experience in computer science and technology education. She currently teaches Computer Information Technology at Navarro College in Texas, specializing in courses such as Introduction to Computing and Business Computer Information Systems. Her background includes a strong foundation in secondary education, where she taught business, network systems, and graphic design. She holds a master’s degree in Learning Technologies from the University of North Texas and a BBA from the University of Texas at Tyler. Karla is certified in Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite and is passionate about student engagement, instructional innovation, and lifelong learning.
