Description

AI is rapidly changing how accountants analyze information, solve problems, and make decisions. So what does that mean for the way we teach Cost Accounting?

Join Margaret Christ, Kip Holderness, and Vern Richardson for a practical look at how AI can fit into the cost accounting classroom without sacrificing the foundational concepts students still need to master.

Drawing on Cost Accounting: A Data Analytics and AI Approach, the authors will explore how instructors can build on data analytics to introduce AI in meaningful, approachable ways. See examples of how AI can help students investigate data, think critically, evaluate results, and make better business decisions all while reinforcing core cost accounting concepts.

You’ll leave with practical ideas you can use in your own course, resources to help you get started, and a clearer picture of how AI can help prepare your students for the changing accounting profession.

AI is changing accounting. See how your Cost Accounting course can change with it.
