Proof, not promises

An independent statewide study by the Utah Education Policy Center found a clear pattern: the more students used ALEKS, the stronger their growth in mathematics.

Highest

predicted growth of 8 programs studied

Highest-usage ALEKS students reached a predicted Student Growth Percentile of 57.3, the highest of any of the eight math programs evaluated (versus 47.9 for the lowest-usage group).

Strongest

work-to-growth link of any program

ALEKS showed the strongest relationship between work completed and academic growth of any program in the study. The effort students put in converts to growth more efficiently than any other program evaluated.

1 of 3

programs proven to help low-income students most

ALEKS was one of only three programs where the link between usage and growth was significantly stronger for students from low-income backgrounds, at both the student and school level.
