Most of us are curious, and we have many questions about many things. Asking good questions helps us take charge of our own learning. In the Inquiry Journal, there are "Compelling Questions" that your students will research. These types of questions ask your students to more closely investigate specific aspects of historical periods and events.  The Inquiry Journal Teacher Guide was developed for teachers to use in conjunction with the Inquiry Journal. This Guide provides lesson planner pages before each topic that provide guidance, support, and tips for teachers as they plan the inquiry topic. Included in the Teacher Guide are possible answers to each Inquiry Journal prompt and questions that the students will interact with.
