Building Success through Feedback Facilitated by Angelo Kinicki and Chad Hartnell

We give and receive feedback daily. Sadly, research reveals that this process is generally ineffective, even though it is well-recognized that feedback is essential for continuous improvement and development. In this 45-minute interactive session, our overall goal is to provide you with a framework for teaching students to give and receive feedback more effectively. After attending this workshop, you should be able to: 1. Discuss the predictors of feedback acceptance. 2. Identify the causes and consequences of defensive communication. 3. Describe the principles of receiving feedback. 4. Use the skills of giving and receiving feedback.
