The metaphor of a black swan (introduced by Nassim Taleb) describes the high impact of a highly improbable event such as COVID-19, Brexit, 9/11 terrorist attacks, fall of the Berlin Wall, and so forth. In this session, Frank Rothaermel will discuss what strategic leaders can and should do about a possible future black swan and other unexpected circumstances.
