Thomas Pittz

Dr. Thomas G. Pittz is an Associate Professor in the Lowth Entrepreneurship Center of the Sykes College of Business at the University of Tampa where he teaches undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and executive learners. He is an award-winning teacher of entrepreneurship, innovation, strategy, and international business and has produced impactful scholarship in some of the top academic journals in the field of management. He is heavily involved in scholarly service as the president and board chairperson for the United States Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE) and as a senior associate editor for the Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development. Prior to working in academia, Dr. Pittz spent nearly two decades in industry and was a successful practicing entrepreneur.
