School Technology Leaders to Speak at Symposium on District Digital Conversion
Published December 4, 2014
McGraw-Hill to host technology leadership event with keynote by Alliance for Excellent Education president Bob Wise.
Designed to empower technology administrators with strategic insights to propel their districts' 1:1 digital teaching initiatives, the event will be keynoted by Bob Wise of the Alliance for Excellent Education, a nonprofit organization that has become a national leader in school reform and advancing technology in education. In mid-November McGraw-Hill joined The Alliance and several other organizations as an official partner of the Future Ready Schools Leadership Network.
School administrators leading successful and innovative district technology initiatives will also be prominently featured in panels and breakout sessions. Glen Rose ISD educators will share the digital strategy that has helped them consistently improve scores on state assessments, members of the Houston ISD leadership team will discuss their plan to improve digital access in 20 of the district's highest-need schools, and Irving ISD technology staff will explain how they are successfully integrating data, curriculum, and digital resources to personalize standards-aligned learning for all students.
McGraw-Hill's District Digital Conversion school partnerships incorporate research-proven practices, professional development, and a strategic planning process to significantly improve the effectiveness of district-wide technology implementations.
