Refer to the recommendations in this guide when selecting an ALEKS or ALEKS Adventure course for students or moving students to a lower or higher course. Page 2 lists the recommended course for students who are on-grade level or approaching grade level. Pages 3-5 provide a description of each course.
Quick tips and reminders:
- Most students can be successful in the on-grade level course.
- Middle school and high school students who are significantly below grade level and have low math confidence may be more successful in the approaching grade level course.
- Most on-grade level and approaching grade level courses automatically align content to your state math standards. Exceptions are noted in the guide.
Please use these as guidelines. Schools, classes, or students with unique needs may fall outside of these course recommendations.
