What is LTI Advantage (LTIA)?
Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) Advantage is the newest and most advanced way to integrate with an LMS. Built on the LTI 1.3 standard by IMS Global, LTI Advantage allows McGraw Hill to develop a tool that takes our integration to the next level for our instructors and students.

What is needed to start using LTIA?
LTI Advantage needs to be configured in your LMS first. Please consult your LMS administrator or support team to find out if LTI Advantage has been configured. If not, a Platform Integration Consultant (PIC) will need to work with your LMS administrator to configure the proper tool prior to utilizing LTI Advantage. New integration requests can be made by the LMS administrator by going to: https://info.mheducation.com/LMS-Integration-Request.html

How is the LTIA integration Configured?
The McGraw Hill Platform Integration Consultant (PIC) will work with your LMS administrator to configure the below items.

  • The LTI 1.3 integration itself
  • The primary tool placement
  • The optional secondary (Basic) placement

Is there a migration tool available to migrate my existing content to be used with the new LTIA integration?
