K-12 Connect - Assignment Results Report
Create assignment results reports in K‑12 Connect to analyze student scores and outcomes.
This article walks teachers through viewing and navigating their Assignment Results Report in Connect.

The assignment results report is the default report, providing access to an aggregate of student scores on the assignments you’ve created.
Assignment results provide a list of all students, in one or more sections of your course, and their corresponding scores on all or selected assignments. The assignment results report can be exported to excel for further management outside of Connect.

1. Click on the Performance menu.
2. Click on Assignment results from the menu.

You can also click on the View assignments report link from the Assignment performance page.

Select Report Filters
There are a variety of options from which you can choose to customize the report to best fit your needs.
A. Section(s) – Select which sections of your course will be on the report. Choose from the current section, sections within the same course, and secondary instructor’s shared sections (if applicable).
B. Assignment(s) – Select which assignments will be on the report. You can filter assignments by type and select or deselect multiple assignments by using the CTRL or Command keys while clicking assignment names.
C. Assignment attempt – Specify how the student assignment score is calculated and displayed when your students are allowed multiple attempts for an assignment:
D. Specify a report date range – Specify an optional date range for the report. Select a From and To date using the calendar icon. Note: if you don’t see any scores when you click “view report” ensure the date range is wide enough to encompass the assignments you wish to view or the entire term.
E. Score style – Choose whether you want to view scores as points or percentages, or both.
F. Customize Report Information – Click the drop-down to select additional report filters.
- Show date started
- Show date submitted
- Exclude students with no submissions
- Group columns by assignment type
- Show student ID
G. View report – Click the View report button to run the report based on the filters selected.
View Report
The assignment results report will display a list of your students in the first column and a subsequent column for each assignment with corresponding student scores.
A. Export – Check the boxes next to each column you want to include in the export then click the Export link to save the report in an offline xlsx view.
B. Print – Click the Print link to save and/or print the Assignment Results page.

C. Click on the student's name to view each completed assignment and any assignments in progress by that student.
Each assignment will include their score for each attempt, the dates they started and submitted each, and the time it took to complete each assignment. Click on the assignment name to see a preview of the assignment.

D. Click on the points in the assignment column to navigate to the student performance page where you can view the questions, the student's responses, and the correct answers.
E. If multiple attempts were available/completed, click the arrow to navigate between the different attempts for the selected assignment.
F. Navigate between the different questions on the assignment by clicking the back and forth arrows or selecting the question number from the drop-down.
G. To change the points received for the question, enter the preferred number in the points field and click the Adjust points button.
H. Click the Adjust credit link to adjust the points for all students that completed the assignment.

I. Enter a text comment or record a comment for the student to listen to for the selected question.

J. Select the Performance tab to view the Bloom's Levels, Learning Outcome, and Topic percentage breakdown for the assignment selected.
