About the Author

Mike Martin

Mike W. Martin received his B.S. (Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi) and M.A. from the University of Utah, and his Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine, and he is currently professor of philosophy at Chapman University. In addition to publishing many articles, he is author, coauthor, or editor of eight books, including Meaningful Work: Rethinking Professional Ethics (2000) and Everyday Morality (3d ed., 2001). He received the Arnold L. and Lois S. Graves Award for Teachers in the Humanities and two fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
