Data Analytics in Accounting is designed to prepare your students with the necessary tools and skills they need to successfully perform data analytics. Using the IMPACT Cycle, the authors provide a conceptual framework to help students think through the steps needed to provide data-driven insights and recommendations. Integrated in each chapter, labs provide students with hands on experiences performing analysis using various datasets and tools. Students will perform data analysis using Excel, Access (including SQL), Tableau, IDEA, XBRL, and Weka. With customer feedback in mind, the authors incorporated three new chapters covering tax and capstone projects that focus on both high-level and low-level projects. Additional videos were integrated into Connect to provide more lecture and lab support.
