Why Browser Navigation Buttons Should Not Be Used:
ALEKS does not recognize browser navigation commands such as "Back" or "Forward." Using these buttons can disrupt the system and place the student's account into an unstable state, potentially causing functionality issues during their session.
Impact on Student Workflow:
- If a student attempts to use the "Back" button to revisit a question after viewing an explanation, ALEKS will redirect them to their home page.
- From the home page, the student must click "Continue My Path" to resume their work, but the original question will no longer be available. Instead, ALEKS will generate a new instance of the problem.
