Open Learning - How to Complete and Submit PDF Assignments

Learn how to complete and submit PDF assignments in the Open Learning Platform.

This article explains how to complete PDF assignments and submit them to your teacher in an Open Learning class.

1. Log in to your student account at my.mheducation.com and launch your class from your student dashboard.

2. Select Assignments from the left side menu.

3. Select the assignment you wish to complete from your assignment list. 

4. On the next page, select the PDF icon under Assignment Content to open the editable PDF version of the assignment.



5. The assignment will open in a new browser window or tab for you to complete. You can type your answers directly into the fields provided on the document.



6. Once you've completed the assignment, click the Print icon at the top right to download a PDF copy with your answers.
Note: Do not click the Download option. Your responses will not be saved if you select this option. 



7. Go back to the Assignment page (it should still be open in the previous tab) to upload your completed assignment. You can click browse and select the file you saved to your device. You can also click and drag your saved file into the Drop Zone area.



8. Once you've attached your file, click the Submit button to send your assignment to your teacher for grading.
