2. Click the Assignments button on the course tile,
or launch the class and click on Assignments from the navigation menu.
3. Click on the Options button in the Action column.
4. Click View Scores from the menu.
You can also click on the Assignment Name.
5. Click the Options button in the Action column to the right of the student name.
6. Click Excuse Assignment from the menu.
If an assignment has been excused for a student, you will see an E (Excused) icon in the Score Notes and a dash in the Score columns of the assignment.

Article Contents Add a Note Excuse Assignment Add a Note Adding a note may not be an available option for all assignment types. 1. SSO or log in at my.mheducation.com. 2. Click View Scores from the menu. You can also click on the Assignment Name. 5. Click the Options button in the Action column to the right of the student name. 6. Click Add Note from the menu. 7. On the Add Note pop-up, enter the note for the student submission. 8. Click Save. Students will see a note icon on their assignment list and will be able to see the note by launching the assignment.
