Personalized Practice is the set of independent student resources that teachers can directly assign to a student or set of students to complete.

Locate Personalized Practice

1. SSO or log in at my.mheducation.com.

2. Launch your Reveal Math course.

3. Click on Personalized Learning from the Navigation menu.

4. Click on one of the sections in the third ring of the report graph.

5. At the bottom of the page, expand the Personalized Learning section.

The Personalized Practice option will be selected by default. 

Assign Personalized Practice

1. At the bottom of the Personalized Learning page, expand the Personalized Learning section.

The Personalized Practice option will be selected by default.

2. Click the Assign button on the resource.

3. The Assignment Name is automatically entered. Click in the field to change, if desired.

4. Select a Start and Due Date and Time by clicking on the calendar icon.

5. The Allow Late Submission box is automatically checked. If you do not want students to submit the assignment after the selected Due Date, uncheck the box.

6. The assignment is set automatically to Ungraded. Assessment points cannot be customized.

7. The students listed above the resource on the Personalized Practice page are automatically selected in the Select Students section. Click the pencil icon to add or remove student selections.

8. Click the Add Extension button to set a different due to date for select students, if desired.

A. Select the Students you want to give the extension to.

B. Select the Date and Time for the extension.

C. Click the Add Extension button.

9. You can change the Grading Type between Graded, Ungraded, and Extra Credit. The assignment is automatically set to Ungraded. There is not a way to set Points for the assignment no matter the option selected.

10. Select the Gradebook Category. For create additional gradebook categories, refer to the Open Learning Platform - Gradebook article.

11. Select the Assignment Visibility. Selecting Hidden will make it so students cannot see or access the assignment.

12. Select the desired Student Scoresheet option.

13. If you have additional classes using the same content, you can select those classes to also assign the resources to in the Copy to classes section.

14. Click the Assign button.
