K-12 Connect® AP Students Are Unable to Sign-up for the Class

Books in Connect® come in a few different versions: High School, Advanced Placement (AP), and Higher Education. Almost all High School and AP titles have a corresponding Higher Education title. For student codes purchased for High School or AP products, the teacher must create a course for the correct course, or the codes will not work.
If your students are receiving a message that their code for content x does not match what you have on your teacher account, this most often means that you have the Higher Education title redeemed on your teacher account instead of the High School or AP version, or you have the wrong High School or AP version redeemed to your account.
For example, you have "Hole's Essentials of Human Anatomy & Physiology" redeemed to your teacher account, but the student codes are for "Hole's Essentials of Human Anatomy & Physiology, High School Edition" (without APR). Students will see a message showing what you have on your teacher account based on the section web address or QR code they used to access the course, as well as see what product the code is actually for.
If students get this error, you will need to create a course on your teacher account based on what the code is associated with.
If you have associated the wrong course with your Connect account, use the steps in the Create, Duplicate, Delete, or Archive a K-12 Connect® Course article to locate and redeem the correct course. These courses will be flagged with "AP" or "High School" at the end of their titles. For example, Hole's Essentials of Human Anatomy & Physiology is available under the Anatomy and Physiology and A and P - High School courses.
