K-12 Connect - Create Your Own Questions

Learn how to unstack lessons in the Everyday Math planner on ConnectED to adjust pacing and manage daily instruction.

1. Click on the Section name you want to create the assignment for.
 

 
2. Click the +Add Assignment button on the section Dashboard.
 
 
If you have the new instructor view, you will need to first click on the Assignments tab, or the All assignments link from the Dashboard.
 

Then click the Add assignment button.
 

3. Click the Question Bank option from the assignment menu.
 

4. In the select a question source pop-up, click on the drop-down and select Create your own question.
 

5. Select the question type you want the question to be by clicking on the type name. Options may vary based on the program being used.
 

6. On the Question tab, enter a Question Title.

7. Type what you want the question to be in the provided field.

8. Add an audio file, if desired. 
 

9. Dependent on the type of question being created, select the correct answer to the question by clicking the checkmark to the right of the answer choices.
 

10. Add any Feedback, Solution, and/or Follow-Up Question information by clicking in the provided boxes.
 

11. Add any Instructor Info, Hints, or Content Tooltips by clicking in the provided boxes. Click the +add another hint, and +add another tooltip to add additional hints and tooltips.
 

12. Click the save button at the top-right of the page to save the new question. 
 

 
      Click + add new to create another new question.
 

      Click the preview button to view the question as the students will see it.
 

       Use the left and right arrows to navigate between newly created questions.
 

Click on the Details tab to add additional information such as what textbook pages students can use as a study reference, how the question is graded, and additional ebook and resource links.
 

Click the Categories tab to add the question to different categories to make it easier to find when creating future assignments.
 

Click the Media tab to add files to the question such as a word document, pdf, image, etc.
 

13. Click the exit button at the top-left to the assignment creation page.
