This article applies to districts that use the SSO and Auto-Rostering Access and Direct Login and Auto-Rostering Services.

SSO applies to districts that use an SSO portal, district website, or Learning Management System (LMS) to access McGraw Hill digital programs, and Direct Login means that teachers, students, and administrators log in at my.mheducation.com. Auto-Rostering means that account creation, class setup, and roster management are automated through a process handled by your district.

McGraw Hill is excited to now offer an Assignment Sync and Grade Passback integration for programs hosted on our Open Learning Platform and select programs on our ConnectED platform. This allows users to sync assignments and grades seamlessly between McGraw Hill and a Learning Management System (LMS), thus removing the need to manually input information or export data from our platform.

McGraw Hill supports the IMS Global (1EdTech) integration standards. We currently support the Assignment Sync and Grade Passback portion of the IMS Global LTI® Advantage Standard functionality within Canvas, Schoology®, and Google Classroom. We can also support additional Learning Management Systems (LMS) that follow this standard.

Note for Google Classroom: An Assignment Sync and Grade Passback integration is not required to utilize the McGraw Hill platforms existing functionality within Google Classroom. The McGraw Hill platforms existing functionality within Google Classroom (assignment sharing) will remain available with no loss of functionality. Additional information on how our platform and programs interact with Google Classroom without an integration can be found here: Google Classroom Resources

To be eligible for this feature, your district must use our Single Sign-On (SSO) and Auto-Rostering Access Service. If your district is already integrated and you would like to add Assignment Sync and Grade Passback, complete this form.

If your district does not have SSO and Auto-Rostering, you can learn more here.
