This article walks teachers through how they can allow students to make revisions to their submitted answers to questions.
After students submit answers to questions it becomes immediately available for teachers to grade. When a student wants to change their answer, there are a couple of ways for them to do so.
Undo/Revise Answers
Students have five seconds to undo their answer after submitting a response by clicking the Undo Answer button.

After the five seconds have passed, students can click the Revise Answer button to make changes.

This option is only available for certain question types and if the Responses are locked until you allow revisions option is unchecked for the Assignment Settings. This will give students unlimited times to revise their answers for the assignment questions.

Request Revision
After the five seconds have passed, students can request that their teacher reset their responses by clicking the Request Revision button.

A Notification will be sent to the teacher that the student has requested a revision. The notification will come up when the assignment is clicked on.

Click the Revision Requested button to allow the student to resubmit their answer for the question.

This can also be done in bulk by clicking on actions (kebob) icon (A) at the top-right of the Grading panel, hovering over Bulk actions (B), and clicking Allow revisions or Restore responses awaiting revision (C).
