Description

The report discusses the narrowing achievement gap between socioeconomically disadvantaged students and the rest of the students in a rural California elementary school. Reading Mastery was used in grades K–8. Since then, reading skills greatly improved at a school level, with more students reading at grade level. Teachers also reported improvements on the Academic Performance Index.
