What format options are available?

Learn which format options are available in Create, including print and digital choices and how to select the best fit.

To access the format options, you will first need to have created a Project with content. McGraw Hill Create™ provides several format options.

    • Displaying outline numbers on your Table of Contents
    • eBook or printed book
    • Student format options
    • Trim Size
    • Optional teacher’s edition (if available for your title)
Note to International customers (outside of the United States and Canada): If you are using a Create International website:
  • Review copies are only available as eBooks
  • Trim size is currently not an option ***What does this mean? Must all trim sizes just be 8.5x11”?***
  • Book cover options are not currently available. Please contact your International MHHE Sales Representative for book cover options. ***What does this mean? Is there just one generic cover?***
Step 1: Click the Personalize tab in the Create Menu (A).
Step 2: Click Format Options under the Create Menu (B).

The available format options are:
  • Display Outline Numbers: Check this option if you want the outline numbers to appear in your final Table of Contents.
  • Review Copy Format: Select the format you want to receive your review copy in. You can have an eBook emailed to you in about an hour or a printed book mailed to your location in about a week. (Note: If the content you’ve selected contains Print Only content, eBook will not be available.)
  • Student Version: Select the from the available formats for the Student Version of your book.
  • Trim Size: Select the size you wish your book to be printed in. (Note: This option will not be available if 8.5 x11” is the only size available for your Project.)
  • Teachers Edition: If you have added teaching notes to your Project, this option will be available. (Note: This option will not be available if the content in your Project does not contain Teachers Notes or if you selected No when asked if you wanted Create to start building a Teachers Edition from content containing Teachers Notes.)

Step 3: Click Next: Order Review Copy to enter your account and shipping information.
