ReadAnywhere App - Enhanced Media Format 2025.

Introduction:

To help enhance our user experience, over the last several months numerous McGraw Hill teams have worked diligently to migrate all media across our platforms to our homegrown solution, "Media Services" (also known as GASPAR).

Previously, our media was delivered through our third-party supplier Viddler.

How may this impact you?

When you are in the ReadAnywhere App and select a book to open:

• If we detect a Viddler video, you will see a message before the book opens:
  • "A new version of your book is available. Would you like to update?" (or something similar)
• If you press cancel, you will go to the TOC (Table of Content) and be able to read as usual but Viddler videos (the older format) will have an error.
• If you press ok, you will go to the TOC and your older chapters will be deleted. Then you can re-download with GASPAR.

What if my new media will not play?

If you have followed the steps to update your media and are experiencing any difficulties playing the new format, please contact the Support Team Here
