Always use the instructions provided by your institution. Didn't receive instructions? Not sure if you have access through your institution? Contact us.

You will need access to some information provided by your institution, including 1) your institution's Boards & Beyond Landing Page and 2) your institution's Access Code. You may have received this information in an email or you might be able to find it posted on your library or course pages. Once you have that information, follow these instructions:

1.     Go to your institution's Boards & Beyond Landing Page.

o   You can find this link in the instructions you received from your institution, or it might be on your institution's library page for Boards & Beyond.

o   You may need to be on-campus.

2.     Click Create Account. Enter your institutional email address. If a message pops up saying "This email is already registered", it means you already have an account in Boards & Beyond with this email.

o   If you have a personal Boards & Beyond account (e.g. one you paid for) with your institutional email address, you must change the email on that account to an alternate email (show me). This will free up your institutional email so you can create an account under your institution's subscription. The accounts will remain separate; data from your old account will not merge with the new account.

o   If you don't have a personal Boards & Beyond account, check your email for the verification email (it's possible you double-clicked on the button) or try signing in using your institutional email (it's possible you already have an account and forgot).

3.     Click Verify. You will receive a verification email.

4.     Click the link in the email. A registration page will open. If you see a message in blue saying "You already have an account with McGraw Hill with this email address," this means you have a McGraw Hill account (this includes Connect, First Aid Forward, and more).

o   Information from that account (including your username and password) has been pre-populated in the registration page.

o   You will use your existing McGraw Hill password for Boards & Beyond. If you don't remember that password, you can use the "Forgot Password?" flow when you sign into Boards & Beyond to reset it.

5.     Enter your information; write down your username.

6.     Copy and paste your institution's Access Code.

7.     Click Sign Up.

8.     You now have at least 180 days of access. If your institution subscribes to multiple products, use the dropdown to switch between the three products. Show me. (You'll see all products in the dropdown regardless of whether your institution subscribes).

9.     Renew your access once every 180 days by signing in from your institution's Boards & Beyond Landing Page to maintain access to your institution's subscription. (It's recommended to renew your access once every 180 days, although your institution may have a longer access period)

10.   For at least 180 days, you can sign into Boards & Beyond directly (i.e. without having to sign into your general institutional account first) from on- or off-campus at www.boardsbeyond.com/institute-login
