Add Google Drive™ Files to Open Learning Assignments

Add files from Google Drive to McGraw Hill assignments using the Open Learning Platform.

To add Google Drive™ files to your Open Learning assignments, you'll first want to link your Google account to your McGraw Hill account. For steps on linking your Google account, see the Pair/Unpair Your McGraw Hill Teacher Account with Your Google Account article.

 

1. Click on Assignments from the navigation menu.

2. Click the New Assignment button.

3. Select to create an Instruction or Submission assignment.

4. Enter a Title for the assignment.

5. Add any Instructions you want the students to follow. This is optional.

6. Click the Import from Google Drive™ button.

7. On the pop-up, select the account you want to pull files from. You may have to enter your Google account password.

If you haven't linked your Google account, you will need to sign in first.

8. Click the Continue button to allow McGraw Hill K-12 for Google Classroom to access your information.

9. Check the box to allow McGraw Hill K-12 for Google Classroom to see, edit, create, and delete specific Google Drive files you use with the program.

10. Click the Continue button.

11. On the Select a file pop-up, select the file you would like to attach to the assignment.

12. Click the Select button.

Click the Import from Google Drive™ button to add additional files to the assignment.

A. To remove files, click the X button to the right of the file name.

13. Click the Continue button to select the assignment settings.
