Kim and Mom sat in their den. Kim had a tan
camp kit. It had one cup and a dish. “What is
this?” said Kim.
“It is Gramps’s camp kit,” said Mom.
“Was Gramps a kid then?” said Kim.
“No, he was a man,” said Mom.
“Were you a kid then?” said Kim.
“Not yet,” said Mom, with a grin.
Then Mom said, “I miss him.”
Mom and Kim felt sad.
Then Kim said, “Can I sip with Gramps’ camp
cup?”
