Beth ran. She had on a thin top and
pants. She did not run in thick stuff.
On her run, that thick stuff got hot!
Beth ran up the path. The sun was
not up yet. In this tenth of the run,
Beth felt wind and chill. She ran past
the band shell.
In the next tenth of her run, the chill
had left. The sun was up. Fast men
ran on the path. Beth ran past them.
By the end of her run, Beth was hot.
Her thin top and pants were hot. She
had run well.
