This article applies to Auto-Rostering districts. Auto-Rostering means that account creation, class setup, and roster management are automated through a process handled by your district.

Direct Login means that teachers, students, and administrators log in at my.mheducation.com.

Single Sign-On applies to districts that use an SSO portal, district website, or Learning Management System (LMS) to access McGraw Hill digital programs.

Not sure which Access Service your district uses? View the Access Service Descriptions article to learn more about the four Access Services that we support.

This guide applies to teachers in Auto-Rostering Access Service districts. If you are unsure of your district’s Access Service, read the Access Service Descriptions for more information.

New for the 2026-27 School Year!

  • Redeeming teacher materials for all classes is now the same, making it easier to add the material to your teacher profile. Take a look at the Create and Edit a Class article for steps on how to redeem your teacher content.
  • Teachers who use Pearson Review of Progress & Learning (PRoPL) for their benchmark testing will soon have access to assessment data in the same place as the rest of their reports for their classes. More information will be available on the support site soon.
  • Grades 6-12 students will soon be able to view and track their own proficiency data for McGraw Hill Literacy Summit! and Soar!, as well as for Reveal Math. More information will be available soon.
  • Actively Learn Virtual Labs provide students with opportunities to practice scientific inquiry rather than just reading and responding. See the Actively Learn Science Virtual Labs article for more information.

What Auto-Rostering Does for You

Our auto-rostering service runs nightly for districts, and the roster data that is provided by the district creates and updates student and teacher accounts. It can also create and update classes, class rosters, and assign one or more programs to each class. All of this means that you should be able to sign in through your district’s Single Sign-On (SSO) launch point or log in directly at my.mheducation.com — depending on your district's access service — and begin using your program content with ease. All platform class creation and rostering changes are handled for you by the district.

Future-dated classes for back to school will become available to teachers and students three weeks before the start date of the class. For semester changes, classes will be available for teachers and students three days before the selected class start date.

Log into Your Account

For Single Sign-On districts, most teachers and students log into a district Student Information System (SIS) or Learning Management System (LMS) and use their district’s launch point to access McGraw Hill platforms. Teachers and students will automatically be signed into their McGraw Hill Programs.

For Direct Login districts, visit my.mheducation.com to sign in once you've received your login credentials. Enter your username or email address and your password in the appropriate fields, keeping in mind that your password is case-sensitive.

Users without a teacher account should contact their Organization Administrator.

Teacher Accounts for "Non-Teachers"

Sometimes staff, such as curriculum coaches, need access to teacher content and may not have access set up through their district’s SSO portal. To gain access to online content, these users will need to self-register for an account with a Registration Code provided to them by the Organization Administrator. Refer to the Create a McGraw Hill Teacher Account article to learn more.

Those who have self-registered will also need to manually create and roster classes. Redeeming teacher materials for all classes is now the same, making it easier to add the material to your teacher profile. If the program you need is not visible, all Teacher Edition licenses may be in use, or Teacher Edition licenses may not have been purchased by your district. Please reach out to your Organization Administrator to confirm license availability. Take a look at the Create and Edit a Class article for steps on how to redeem your teacher content.

For select programs, teachers will also need to add the Student Edition to their accounts for students to be able to gain access to the content. For steps on adding the student material and assigning it to students, refer to the Redeem a ConnectED Master Code and Assign the ConnectED Student Edition articles.

Some programs have unique ways to roster students to classes. Take a look at the following articles for the steps on how to roster students to these classes:

Class Management

For Auto-Rostering districts, your classes are created and rostered for you.  Future-dated classes will become available to teachers and students three weeks before the start date of the class. For class semester changes, classes will appear for teachers and students three days before the class start date. If you do not see your classes, you will want to reach out to your district’s Organization Administrator to verify the start date of the class.

Teachers in auto-rostering districts can still create and manage classes manually, even when their accounts and other classes are district-managed. However, before creating any manual classes, teachers should first check with their district. Keep in mind that any manually created classes will require ongoing self-management by the teacher for the duration of the class. If you're instructed to create and manage your own classes, refer to the Teacher Accounts for "Non-Teachers" section for more information.

Regardless of whether your class was created by the district or manually, users of Wonders and Everyday Mathematics 4 must complete the class calendar setup before accessing course resources. View the Wonders/Maravillas Class Management and Manage Everyday Mathematics® 4 Classes articles for steps on setting class calendars.
