Essentials for Algebra
Usage on Mathematical Learning Study

Grades 6–12

We invite your district to apply! 

McGraw Hill is seeking Essentials for Algebra customers to participate in a study to determine the effect of Essentials for Algebra usage on mathematics learning.  We invite your district to participate.

Participation Requirements and Time Commitment

  • Usage of Essentials for Algebra during the prior school years (2025–2026)—no additional time commitment.

  • Provide access to available de-identified student-level data from district/state summative assessments for grades 6–12 for 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 for analysis and inclusion in a written report—approximately 1–2 hours.

  • Provide access to de-identified student-level math data from benchmark assessments (e.g., iReady, NWEA MAP, or similar) for grades 6–12 for 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 for analysis and inclusion in a written report—approximately 1–2 hours.

Why Participate?

  • McGraw Hill will provide your district with a report showing the relationship between usage of Essentials for Algebra and assessment scores along with a consultation from our curriculum experts.
  • In recognition of the time commitment to provide data for the study, participating districts will receive a $1000 materials credit once all data have been received.
